Back to work on Monday. Very busy Friday and Saturday happening/to come.

Today I took
sassy_fae and
nottheterritory on a whirlwind tour of Fabulous Haldimand County.

"It is cold today, Comrade Pyat."
"Da, Comrade Alexi. Cold. And hard."

I got new glasses. I like the old ones better, but they got stepped on.

Date: 2010-01-22 09:40 pm (UTC)You know how it is. As soon as someone jumps to suggest the U.S. is okay-too/better it's only natural to assume they're American.

Date: 2010-01-22 09:42 pm (UTC)I'm actually getting a bit annoyed by that. Kind of like how I get upset when people do Christian bashing even though I'm an atheist. And that's with me having used to do that until relatively recently as well. It took me hanging out with an ex-pat American who was getting really hurt by some of those comments at a party for me to change my view.

Date: 2010-01-23 03:00 am (UTC)I wish I could have come. I had to pull a eleven hour day. It was the result of an honestly shocking change at work (I'm still in shock, at least), but it HURT.

Date: 2010-01-24 03:46 am (UTC)The giant mudcat certainly counts. Do you know of any other bizarre Canadian landmarks (or stories?)
