velvetpage kindly gave me the evening free, so I went out to see Watchmen with catsarah. Lo, it was good.

I am going to be so tired in the morning.

PS: Driving home through the mist, down the escarpment, cars shifted and slowed and moved to let me pass. The Haunted Police Car looks very official at night, and that can be sort of cool. Except when people on the street give me the finger randomly.

Roger Ebert gave it 4/4 stars, and I don't think he's read the graphic novel. What his endorsement means is, whether or not it's accurate to the novel, it's a good movie, in his opinion.
