A Very Pyat Christmas, Part One
Dec. 21st, 2008 12:52 pmThis morning was a Christmas brunch at my father-in-law's house. There was more snow overnight, so getting there was a little problematic. But then, we are Canadians... even if we live on a latitude roughly equivalent to that of Northern California!

We loaded Claire and the presents onto a sled, and walked there.

The journey was fraught with peril. Rations were nonexistent. We lost the cargo a couple of times!

But the crew maintained a high morale.

In the end, I was mistaken for a production assistant from the set of Citizen Kane.

Date: 2008-12-22 03:26 am (UTC)...and second on the snow envy. Oklahoma usually just gets ice. Today it was 25F (-4C) in the middle of the afternoon, and we had NOTHING. No snow, no sleet, no ice, NOTHING. Just cold. There is no point to just cold. There must be snow, or it must be warm! This is ridiculous!
