Working from home today - just dropped Elizabeth off at school. While getting back into the car, I decided to bash the corner of my left eye firmly against the top edge of the car door.

What? You think I'm uncoordinated enough to do that by accident? Nonsense!

It bled copiously enough that I thought my eyesocket was bleeding for a minute or two. :(

I think you should make up a dramatic story abut how you got it. Like you were attacked by pirates and had to gallantly defend your family from them. Something like that.

Also, there's manymany blood vessels in yer face 'n' scalp, which is why head wounds bleed so copiously.
