Our first SCA event was a success, I think, and I am rapidly thinking of a persona. More pics later!

We did, and they had a ball. There was a family there who had brought a bunch of outgrown kids' garb in case any kids showed up without any, and they had things to fit both of them. And they'd be easy to make, too, when the girls outgrow them!

There was a playground, toy bows and arrows and older kids willing to help them use them, colouring and bead-necklace-making, green grass and blue sky and perfect temperatures. It was lovely.
