I believe this to be a portent of good luck and productivity!

I always feel a bit sad when I clean up mouse corpse. I don't want them in the house, and I praise my cats for doing their job, but the little buggers are cute, and they're just trying to survive like everyone else.

Ditto, minus the cats. I hate putting out traps for them, but having living in an apartment building that was infested with mice, I know from experience how fast they can go from an occasional cute visitor to spoiling all your food that isn't in cans.
