I would think it just meant that there's a cat out there that really likes you. And if such an uncompromisingly evil creature as a cat likes you, you know it's because there's a good strategic reason for you to be well-liked. Which can't be bad news.

Of course. I'm been a Waits fan for as long as I can remember, and that's a great, if depressing, album. I wish I'd been able to see Woyzeck, but that's not the type of play to show up here. Heck, I've always wanted to see The Black Rider, for similar reasons. Alas.

I always feel a bit sad when I clean up mouse corpse. I don't want them in the house, and I praise my cats for doing their job, but the little buggers are cute, and they're just trying to survive like everyone else.

Ditto, minus the cats. I hate putting out traps for them, but having living in an apartment building that was infested with mice, I know from experience how fast they can go from an occasional cute visitor to spoiling all your food that isn't in cans.
