pyatGot home, flopped on the couch and the girls sat on my back and watched bits of Mary Poppins and Mr. Toad.

Date: 2009-09-05 04:34 pm (UTC)I looked at pre-school workbooks at the store for my three year old Lizzie, but didn't get one 'cause I didn't want to push the academics too hard and turn her off to it. But my MIL sent her one as a gift, and she loves it. Almost every day she wants to do a few pages in it. I do this with her, to encourage her to do the activities as directed, but she decides when she's done. And she's got skills!
Also, good job getting out of that increasingly horrible workplace.
