I'm feeling a bit burnt out from work, even though this week was fairly light. Ah well.


Toronto, as seen from the GO Bus this morning.


Anglican Cathedral, one of several cathedrals near my office. I should visit them more often, with the better camera. This was just with the cheap point and click. They were cleaning the organ!


kores_rabbit came down over lunch hour!


The local Fallout LARP is a lot more frou-frou than the Russian one.

That's cool! How do people clean pipe organs anyway? Is there a way to take the keyboard chunk away from the wall and just clean the pipes in situ, or what?

It seemed to involve tootling (or thundering) away at a few bars, and then some horrible farting noises and a sound like someone blowing a raspberry into sewer pipe.

More seriously, they seemed to be blowing through them with an air compressor, and it produced weird noises.

I love the photo of the cathedral. Your camera plays up the lighting in there nicely (and a bit more glowy than I remember it!). The woman at the "front" of the church there was just the right thing to give this photo some feeling.
