[livejournal.com profile] commanderteddog and I sauntered down to the waterfront over lunch, to take a look at a public display of interesting photos from northern Ontario.

Can you tell me what the name of that lake is? 'Cause in my fantasy alternate reality, I think I'd like a cabin there. n.n

It was not named in the photo! It's apparently quite small, and I suspect it's close to the Albany River, south of James Bay, since all the identified photos were from that area.

Image is a better image of it, but it still doesn't say where it is - though the site confirms all these photos were taken between Lake St. Joseph and James Bay, near the Albany River.

Have you tried using Google Earth? Might be a bit tricky, that's a small lake, but... you never know. :)

One problem is that, since it's an artistic shot, we have no idea where north is in that photo. It might not look like a rabbit at all in an "Up = North" Google map thing.

I scoured the map for about 15 minutes. No dice.
