Night Walk

pyatThe day's work done, the kids in bed, and my sore jaw still as sore jawful as ever, I went for a walk in the gloaming. This is my neighbourhood, at night. The sky was a wonderful colour, post-rainstorm.
There are strange alleyways, mostly overgrown. Some are well lit...
Others are dark tunnels of trees littered with tin cans.
Kenilworth North is all faded storefronts, some of which have been converted into shabby apartments with enormous bay windows. Yet, there's also a beautiful library, and some stores have been open and active for decades.
