Telescopes for the cottage trip!

I really want one of these, a Meade Skybridge. The 8" model is only $399 US.


I'd also love one of these, a Meade "Backpack Observatory." It can be ordered through Wal-Mart for $200.

However, I suspect I'll end up with a $30 Chinese copy of a low-end Celestron reflector. Or just dust off my 25-year-old reflector with missing eyepieces and a tripod made of two broken tripods wired together. It's all cool. :)

But man... that Skybridge.

If I ever get to a place where I can get away from the light pollution, I am so getting one those Skybridges.
