The Early Edition

My family, around 1982 or 83. Not a terribly flattering photo of us all, but nicely candid. I'm holding a model of a spaceship - the flying saucer from Forbidden Planet specifically. The top would come off, and you could put 1:72 Zulu War Redcoats inside and conquer places.

You know, if you were the sort of kid who'd do THAT kind of thing.


1983, I think? The dog was named Pepsi, as named by my 5-year-old sister. We didn't have him long. He had some serious destructive tendencies and weird gnawing habits. He ate our bottom basement step.

My parents still have the sign, which my dad made with his homemade sand blaster. The Gnome was a cute little family icon, which has since turned into an accurate portrayal of my father.

Wow, so that really is your older sister's natural hair colour? And your younger sister's! A lot of women pay good money to get that stuff in a bottle. Aren't they lucky:)

I named Pepsi?!
Who gave me that honour? Was it 'cause I was the youngset?
I have very little memory of him, other than he once tried to bite Tina Zubrinic. Jasper kinda resembles him...if Pepsi had spots.

I love the first picture. I think I look like a turtle. Dad has the world's shortest tie.
At least mom is normal..ish.
