Spontaneous urban exploration.

And rooms that made me curiously sad.

Children used to live here, and not long ago.

And artists.

And nerds.

And literati.

And hipsters!

They left messages.

Entire walls of memories, in fact.

Rooms of art.

And, now they're gone.

Wow, that was an interesting story. That mural is fantastic! And then, just the empty window with a forlorn curtain...

It's where my company is moving later this year, and I got a chance to peek inside today when my supervisor walked over.

86 Parliament! The door was open. :)

More seriously, it's where my company is moving later this year, and I got a chance to peek inside today when my supervisor walked over.

Very poignant. This is sort of the reason I like urban exploration/urban decay stuff.

It's the former offices of the Toronto Telegram, at Adelaide and Parliament. More recently, it was low-rent apartments/studio space, I believe.

I once worked in a warehouse where, in one of the corridors, someone had graffittied (is that a word?) "Remember me, '97" under his name. I can't remember the name any more.

It always made me sad to see that and know I'd forget the name... just like everyone who worked there had forgotten who he was, and why he wanted to be remembered.

This was a very poignant posting. Every wall seems to have a story to tell. I'm glad you captured many of these images before the building is changed yet again to suit the needs of new inhabitants who, no doubt, will leave their own marks upon the buidling.
