For I am now 35! I am now quite officially well beyond the age where I understand what "The Kids" are on about, though I suspect I was also that age in 1990.
I got to that age where I don't understand what the "The Kids" are on about after I tried to use Twitter, and completely failed to see the point. Although from news reports maybe that just makes me out of touch with US politicians.
