I was totally wrong!

I came very close to losing my temper with the woman when she told me she wasn't selling anything. After a two hour presentation about Rainsoft.

To which I say "What?"
And they say "You know, that you're registered on your bill so you're not being charged wrong." At which point they show their badge -- done up to look official, and try to make you think they're actually from our current company. They try to pass off "I'm selling you an energy plan" as "I just want to make sure your bill is right, can you show me one so I can get your account info?"
So rather than listening to what they're selling, I've told them I don't like liars and closed the door in their face every time. I can't stand that horseshit.
Though maybe I'll look it up and see if I want to do it on my own.
