From Exodus, chapter 32:
... So all the people took off the rings of gold which were in their ears, and brought them to Aaron. 4 And he received the gold at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, and made a molten calf; and they said, "These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt!"....

this is both disturbing and slightly heartening at the same time... i applaud their wishes but i really don't think that prayer will be the deciding factor... personally, a part of me wants the market to crash. a chance to rebuild the world in a better, more stable manner that's less reliant and driven by pure greed.

Wall street, in my not so humble opinion, can be easily compared to the city of babylon or even Sodom (not the "anti-homosexuality" slant that some choose to use.)
