I ain't voting for anyone until the Canadian Abolitionist Party comes back.

I can't remember what they were about, but their symbol was a computer disk pinned to a sport coat, and the party leader could play the accordion.

Oooooh are they?! The last time I looked at their wiki page, it didn't mention a revival...that would be AWESOME!

Unfortunately, I definitely don't have a candidate for them in my riding. *sulks*

Yeah... my husband usually votes communist in tribute to his grandfather (and because if you spoil your ballot they just throw it away and it doesn't count). But he'd have happily voted Rhino or Flying Spaghetti Monster if there was a candidate. As is, he gets the choice of Liberal, Conservative, NDP, or Green Party in our riding. He's very sad... he actually has to vote for a "serious" party this year.

You can register your vote as a protest vote. I did that once (provincial, because the Tories were guaranteed to get in and the other candidates in my riding were all useless). They give you an envelope, you write "protest vote" on it, put your ballot in and seal it. It counts.
