pyatFanExpo 2008 is done for me, I fear! I have enough Con Crud to stay home. There were good points and bad points about the con, but overall it was a great deal of fun. From a sales perspective... well, maybe not so much.
Still, I met many many many people, and I ended the con experience by going out for sushi with several beautiful women and a seven-foot-rat.

avain, who was NOT dressed as a raven for once!
bandersnitch, there in his capacity as Movie Blog reporter!
bootler, who siezed my weiner roughly!
catsarah, who came in to visit on Saturday.
commanderteddog, who is awesome and helped with our table, and also introduced me to Commander Rick, of Prisoners of Gravity.
dhstein, who gives awesome hugs. (And her LJless daughter)
girlydoll, who was snipering photos of stars with an enormous telephoto lens!
hbruton, who is at every con I ever go to. Her artwork adorns our mantelpiece!
kisekileia, a new friend who was previously only known to exist on LJ.
madmanofprauge, who now has a very cool moustache to go with his sinister haircut!
normanrafferty, our furious and curious rat leader, who is currently asleep on our futon.
redeem147, who was walking the Earth like some kind of nerd goddess!
rentagurkha, whose wife does not suspect the depths of his fannish depravity!
ruiskafleck, who administers crushing hugs. Here she is dressed as her WoW character.
senexmacdonald, pint-sized game room regulatorix! She made us signs.
thebitterguy, the man who makes my attendance possible! He was surprisingly relaxed this year. Much of the time! He's the not-girl one in this photo.
velvetpage, the missus, who rocked the con!
wggthegnoll, who was NOT dressed as a gnoll!
There were many more folks, including a local furry who interviewedvelvetpage for a podcast, and assorted folks who bought our books and stuff. Good times!
One of these people is a monster.

I salute your ironic enthusiasm, superhero cosplayers!
Yes, this is a man in a Baroness costume. I am comfortable enough with myself to say that he rocked that costume. ;)
Random hallway!
Walking to sushi. Toronto is experiencing a building boom, and a large office block has appeared since my last visit to the convention centre, blocking the quick and easy route to sushi.
