Day One of the Long Weekend

This morning I ventured out to Bayshore Hobbies for a sale marking the 50th birthday of the owner/manager, Rose. She's looking good, I must say. I've been going to Bayshore since 1989, and Rose has aged a lot better than most of her clientele. I picked up a free cupcake, and a copy of the most recent Star Wars RPG, and a collection of Paranoia adventures.

tzoq arrived shortly after I got home, having completed the first 5/8ths if his epic 180 km bike trip. He stopped by to eat burgers, hydrate, and talk about BBC radio shows and silent movies.

This afternoo, we're off to visit mar2nee for board games. The long weekend has started well, methinks!

I have a couple of RPG groups - one currently is playing a rock band in the Serenity / Firely universe, and the other is playing Warhammer Fantasy RPG. We'd been playing the same D&D 3.0 campaign for six years before that.
