Why? I try not to be happy at anyone's death, and he's not in the Senate anymore. If someone had to die, I'd vastly rather it be some (pretty much any) current Republican Senator.
I was about to say, "There, Pyat - voice of reason!" but then you had to go and throw in that last sentence.
Democracy works a lot better, I think, when you try to persuade other people of the rightness of your viewpoint, rather than by wishing "the other guys" dead.
