Cleveland last rocked as of around 1998, as far as I can tell by the archaeological layer underneath the pawn shops and discount cigarette storefronts. :p Unfortunately, Hopkins Airport has always sucked. If you had time and transit, I'd point out there's an excellent quasi-vegetarian diner in the Coventry neighborhood of Cleveland Heights. Rumor has it that Waffle House has made it into north Ohio, too, but as a Canadian you haven't had time to develop the requisite bioimmunity to enjoy it properly. :)
