Huzzah for neosis!

We've just returned from Toronto, where we attended the wedding of neosis and Samia. I got to meet a number of old friends and coworkers, including frogjimmy, who did a remarkable job as MC.

I performed an impromptu haiku for the assembled family and friends - this being required in lieu of clinking glasses to make the bride and groom kiss. My poem!

June heatwave blazing
Wedding guests wilting
Still, a cool couple

The ceremony and reception were at Toronto's Old Mill, a rambling structure that reminds me of a combination of a castle, D&D inn, Wodehousian Gentlemen's Club, and the perfect setting for a Call of Cthulhu LARP.




The grounds of the mill are accessed through a tunnel -at least, that's the most interesting way in, for my money.
