That looks like my first usable bike. The only problem I ever had was that if I strapped a boogie board across the rack on a windy day, I could enough lift to flip the bike. At least if I was going down hill back from Manhattan Beach.
That looks just like the bike I learned to ride on (except, mine was a girl's bike).
I've been reminiscing too. And looking forward to hosting a 70's Summer Party in July or August. You know how I like theme parties! We're going to have;
- tie-dye shirts - pop from The Pop Shoppe - Dickie-Dee type popsicles - the soundtrack from "Dazed and Confused" - pop rocks etc. - Twister
But then I remember you and velvetpage are younger than me, so you can just reminisce on being zygotes or something:)
