To the Meadows Green

The day started with a spontaneous nose bleed, but ended with warm sunshine and visits with friends. Today was Elizabeth's first t-ball game - velvetpage and hannahmorgan brought her over, as my train doesn't get back to the city until 6:45 PM. I got off the bus and walked through the park, arriving at the field at 7 PM, just as Elizabeth went to bat. I chased Claire around while Elizabeth played and velvetpage and hannahmorgan talked shop and generally relaxed in the setting sun.

Within two minutes of arriving back home, sassy_fae showed up with her pet ferret and catsarah's dog, Cricket. So, I took my chicken and vegetables out of the microwave and dined on the porch. A rather pleasant evening indeed.
