Pyat's Snowy Day Adventure!

When it snows in a large city at before dawn, the lights of the city are reflected back from the falling snow, giving the impression that the city has been covered with a large, transluscent orange bowl.

Dimly visible through the snow is Landmark Place, the tallest residential building in Canada... outside of Toronto! neosis used to live there.


3:00 PM this afternoon in Toronto, looking north from the very start of the longest street in the world.


The 3:00 PM early closing at the office was a mixed blessing - EVERYONE was trying to leave early. There were hundreds of people lined up for some of the buses. This is the line of people for the 3:20 PM Hamilton Express. Or rather, these are the people left outside after the bus was filled to capacity.


Inside Union Station, on the stairs to the trains. Those people stood there for a good 15 or 20 minutes. The line up was all the up to the platform.

I got on the 3:34 train for Hamilton. Ostensibly! With delays and so on, I arrived home at 6 PM.
