Email from my mom!

Our daughters spend weekdays with my mother while Erin and I work. Today, Claire say something different!


Today we had an unexpected visit from a Dinosaur.

He was on our front lawn according the Claire,

He had 2 legs, 2 arms, 2 bellies, 2 eyes, 2 ears and 2 heads.

" He ran that way" she explained to Oma who was looking in the wrong direction

Opa was doubled over in laughter as Claire was so intent on what she was seeing through our front window.

Now the dinosaur is at Claire's house in the backroom so beware of things that might go bump in the night.

I suggested that we take a video and let Aunt Anney and Uncle Craig know what was going on but Claire said "NO, I phone them.." She did manage to dial out before I got to the phone but I don't think it connected. We called and spoke to Aunt Anney who was greatly impressed by the dinosaur.

All the while this was going on Elizabeth was at the table with her note pad drawing people and giving them very elaborate outfits with fancy boots. And wonderful hairstyles with many barrettes. Saying " Claire, dinosaurs are extinct so they could not be on the lawn"

Which caused a resounding " NO ELIZABETH, there is a dinosaur outside!!!"

This is not the first time she has seen the dinosaur I wonder what is outside that sparks this thought in her mind?
