Ten years ago today, on a blisteringly hot and sunny day, I married velvetpage. She was a cute nerdy girl. Today, she's curvier and nerdier and cuter than ever.


This is a photo from our honeymoon. In a week, we'll be going back to the same place, knowing a lot more about each other, and with a wealth of years to talk about.

Also, there is a hot tub.

You guys look so cute in the top picture (but a little smiled out I bet), but Erin looks so much more relaxed and less stressed in the bottom one, honeymoons are a great way to shake off the stress of the wedding day and wearing a dress that weighs 20 pounds on its own, but I love the classic cut she is wearing, absolutely timeless.

Oh, definitely... we had a good relaxed time. The wedding was on a 39 C day, and we were stuck at the church till almost midnight.

When we got to Stratford, the temperature went down to 15 or so - enough that we could light the fire in the hotel suite. It was a wonderful change.
