ferret whimpers, I GAVE AWAY a reel to reel with that magic "sound on sound" button. Ah, the fun I could be having! But wait, I don't have a basement and I don't know how to play the banjo. And what about that piano in the living room, was it ever used? WHY NOT?!?! Perhaps it was a "prepared piano" (what everyone else would call "BROKEN").
My first response to this is, "I've heard of a one man band, but never a one dork orchestra". If the multiple parts taped using sound on sound wasn't enough. Anyone who plays an ocarina outside either fifth/sixth grade music class, or, a game of Legend of Zelda, automatically rates a dork classification.
Oh my! How could I have missed this? The Banjolele!
"It is my intention to retire to the depths of the country. In some old world, sequestered nook I shall find a cottage, and there resume my studies." "A cottage, sir?" "A cottage, Jeeves. If possible, honeysuckle-covered." "In that case, I fear I must give my notice ... if it is your intention to play that instrument within the narrow confnes of a country cottage . . ."
ah, ocarina!
