Cat-boom?

At some point before dawn, a cat exploded on my lawn. Or a tribble.

Any thoughts, cat people?

Went on a walk at lunch with [livejournal.com profile] commanderteddog, down to the waterfront to buy Tim Tams and look at things. Total distance was 4.89 km.

Yonge Street died, and was buried under this cairn, next to a funky bumblebee themed gravestone. True story!

Queen's Quay Shopping Terminal is a triumph of naturalistic, warm, fuzzy architecture!

You know, if I were a Republican, and American, the corpse of Richard Nixon would probably be a better choice for president than Palin or Jeb Bush.

Behold! A magic potion, found under a picnic table! Let us quaff it at once, and note the properties!

I love the photos, as always!

A few guesses on your cat-splosion:

1) A couple of cats (or other critters) had a showdown during the night, and the bulk of the fluff is from the loser

2) Predator/prey and they started taking their dinner apart on the lawn

3) A cat that's shedding it's spring coat took awhile to groom him/herself there.

4) Cat fur mushrooms bloomed overnight!

Ok, maybe the last one's a bit of a stretch :)

My vote is for the TNT cats.

oh no wait,, its Mischa, my Husky Shepard cross. I groomed her last night (she looks like a freaking shedding buffalo) and it blew away on the wind. Obviously it landed in your yard...

So sorry...

Looks like dog or rabbit fur to me...not cat.

Both actually, a cat ate a tribble, which proceeded to multiply inside said cat, until this cat spontaneously exploded.

I have no thoughts, just wanted to say it made me laugh out loud when I saw the picture and read the caption under it. :P

Rather, no thoughts on your exploding animal matter. I have plenty of other thoughts throughout the day!

I'm suspecting #3. There's a very plump and furry kitty that's been hanging about our driveway of late, and the fur is the right colour.

Where do you buy your Tim Tams?

Loblaw's has them, and they seem to be spreading out to other stores. The Bay at Eaton's Centre was selling them, too, in their chocolate department.

Interesting! I shall need to investigate this. I'd actually heard that Loblaw had them now, but I hadn't gotten out to check it out.

I'm surprised! I thought Tim Tams were only to be found in Australia! I have a friend who'll enjoy this news immensely. :-)

They're nummy. :) They apparently appeared at Targets in the US last year - I had a stack of them in my room from the Wheeling Target, when you were visiting me at MFF!

Except Richard Nixon isn't right wing enough for the Republicans, especially dead. Although his decaying corpse is as foul enough to the rest of us to qualify.
