Pyat and the Appliances of Doom

So, our dryer went bust, and got fixed today. And then the laundry tub got royally clogged this afternoon. A half-litre of sulphuric acid cleaned the clog.. and then our cable internet died.

I'm connected on a single bar of wireless from someone named Mike.

As such, velvetpage and I may be scarce online for a day or two till this is sorted.

In better news. we took the girls for a play date with doc_mystery and mrs_dm's little girl, and ate pizza and watched Hawk: The Slayer.

Well, there was a lot of amateur MST3King going on. And once we realized that Jack Palance was a good 35 years older than his "brother," and only 3 years youger than his "father..."
