Chinese feast!

Land wars in Asia!

They're NOT toy soldiers. They're historical education aids.

How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat?

HAPPY...

...BIRTHDAY! Granddad's 63rd!

It works! Not bad for a computer left in a parking lot in -15 C weather. When I switched it on, condensation formed on the screen, froze, and had to be scraped off.

Though, looking at recent documents and what not, it seems to have been last used regularly in 2002.

Good score on the computer. OS 9.x was a pretty capable one based on my experiences. Yeah, this can run one of the older OSX distros no prob. Computer for the kids or good score for a nonprofit. The place I worked at before my current job was a print shop that did a printing for personalized mail marketing and other communications. They did bills, offers, anything that required you to print up and mail large numbers of personalized letters. They ran the place entirely on older Macs. So you can do a lot with these things still. One possibility in the networked home is to use it as a backup server.

You should think about using it as a computer for the girls.

There's a metric-ton of fun educational material for older Macs.

Here's some more details about your recent curb-side find:

Hurray, Axis and Allies! Seeing those little plastic thingies gave me a serious flashback. I wonder if you've played Fortress America (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/99), another game in MB's Gamemaster series? We own a copy, but I can't get anyone in my house to play it because of its ludicrous political premise.
