Casting Call:
I think its inevitable that as we read each other's journals we create mental pictures of each other. Post this on your own journal to find out who your friends see when they read about your life.

Two Rules:
1) The person must be in the movies or on TV (but doesn't have to be an actor/actress). The person can be specific to a role (e.g. Jennifer Elhe's Elizabeth Bennet) or just the person themself.
2) Post a picture!

Aside: When she was 2, Elizabeth looked at a photo of Fatty Arbuckle I was using for a Call of Cthulhu character and said "Daddy!" Oi vei!

William Hopper as Paul Drake

It's not an exact match for my mental picture, but I'm leaning toward the character Paul Drake (played by William Hopper) from the TV show Perry Mason.

Really hard for me to do because I do know what you look like face to face, but you had your own "radio show" with its own pulp charm and personality to it.

For some reason, I kinda picture you as Stephen Furst after he lost the weight that got him roles like Flounder in Animal House. Kinda like this:

I even copied the same picture to include in my reply!

Curse you!

People tell me my daddy looks like Ernest Borgnine. Fatty Arbuckle would almost be an improvement there...

When I was in school, I did some kind of imaginative exercise in which we had to imagine our voice of conscience. For some reason mine came out as Charles Laughton.

Didn't you kill my brother?

I'd need to get my haircut and beard shaved for that. But that comparison has been made before, to the point where I even posed for it!

Say, do you write stuff in your weird Xanga journal thing still?

Craig is Kevin Smith....minus the nastiness.
(If you are going to see one Kevin Smith movie, see Dogma...in my opinion...)
From: [identity profile] summerfields.livejournal.com
If I killed your brother, would that mean I killed Craig??

"I saw ya!"

I still sometimes write in my xanga, every other week or so.

He's one of hte most under appreciated actors in Hollywood. Up until he was in Babylon 5, he was the stock comedic fat guy. In that Bab 5 series, he got a character the grew from comic relief into something more serious.

I think of your posts in the voice of Sterling Holloway, best known as the voice of Winnie the Pooh. who did a million voices for Disney from the 50s through the 80s.
