WHAT I DID IN MY SENIOR YEAR
What year was it?
Assuming “Senior Year” is the same as Grade 12? 1991-1992.
If “Senior Year” is the same as OAC, then it was 1992-1993.
What were your three favorite bands?
Talking Heads, Ministry, and… uh… can’t think of another one.
What was your favorite outfit?
Black “Einstein” t-shirt, blue button-up shirt left open, blue jeans, very battered black dress shoes.
What was up with your hair?
Short on the sides and back, long enough to comb on the top.
Who were your best friends?
Bill and Melanie.
What did you do after school?
Got into flame wars on local BBSs. Played The Magic Candle and Ultima VI. Drove to Stoney Creek for RPGs on Friday nights.
Where did you work?
The Sunoco self-serve gas bar on Rymal Road.
Did you take the bus?
No one did. I went to school in the city, about a ten minute walk from where I live now.
Who did you have a crush on?
Every single girl at school with glasses, chunky sweaters, or dyed hair, one at a time.
Did you fight with your parents?
Not very often.
Who did you have a CELEBRITY crush on?
Hmm. It’s a toss-up between Sophie Aldred and Meryn Cadell.
Did you smoke cigarettes?
I did smoke one or two during long shifts at the gas station, just to see what the attraction was.
Did you lug all of your books around in your backpack all day because you were too nervous to find your locker?
I had two lockers AND lugged most of my books around.
Did you have a 'clique'?
Not really.
Did you have "The Max" like Zach, Kelly, and Slater?
I hated that show and I don’t know what “The Max” is.
Admit it, were you popular?
Not outside of a highly specialized circle of about four people.
Who did you want to be just like?
I wanted to be one of the “Champions Gurus,” like those cool guys on the cover of Justice Inc..
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wasn’t sure. I’d just recently abandoned the idea of becoming a astronomer. I was considering journalism, and briefly thought about becoming a forest ranger.
Where did you think you'd be at the age you are now?
Fighting the evil forces of the Anti-Christ in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, or possibly living alone somewhere, playing RPGs and eating Taco Bell.
velvetpage was still two years in the future.

Date: 2005-01-25 07:04 pm (UTC)It's funny because when I look on Canadian site for Canadian groups they are so expensive or out of print....but on American sites I can get stuff cheap - I bought "Lik My Trakter" for 3 bucks here...but it was out of print on HMV.com.
That's all. :)
Your Little Sister.

I did indeed graduate in 1992, but at that time in Ontario most people stayed in High School for an extra year to prepare for college.

I think a year after high school before college would have been good for me.
