Date: 2008-05-15 05:39 pm (UTC)Also... you know, we keep being told in canon stuff that the Emperor is this terrifying hub which keeps discipline together, to some extent mentally controls the nearby troops, etc, and the Emperor's just bought the farm in this scene. That's a perfectly good shuttle, and the Death Star's days are numbered. Is it just that nobody thinks to challenge the dude hauling around the Dark Lord of the Sith, or is that just too intimidating, that there isn't this huge riot of Imperial personnel stampeding past Luke to get onto the shuttle and bail out?
