I remember reading a synopsis of Star Wars in the KW Record, something never done before but done now because of the incredible impact the film had on consciousness...
I remember going to see it (finally) at the drive in with my parents... (that probably would have been sometime in June)
And, sadly, I remember the horrific monstrosity about 4 years later when they mashed Star Wars and Empire together into one 3 hour monstrosity... (think of all they'd have to cut out)
