commanderteddog chose the following icons:

Well, what's to explain, really? This is an image of some fellow with a hat, buying pie in an automat. Why pie, particularly? Well, I suppose because in the automat of life, I'm the sort of fellow who is always scrounging for that extra dime I need to get me a slice of pie. And I don't even need the a la mode!

Ah! Well, now, this is a special icon I use for "Rabbit Hole Day" posts, that day when you're supposed to post as though you were living in an alternate universe. It doesn't seem to have happened this year, though. This alternate me is a semi-literate, drama-addicted, very gay furry. He lives with his parents, is (poorly) closeted and on a great many different medications. He goes to a lot of cons with his good friend and off-again/on-again mate, Scritchyfox. He makes very bad furry art with MS Paint, which he uploads to Furaffinity.

This icon is a response to the return of the Daleks in the new Doctor Who series. There's a scene where they rise up outside the window of a space station, and their headbulbs flash silently four times. As we know, Dalek head bulbs flash for each syllable of what they are saying. So, I speculated that they were actually saying "Please! Give us cake!"
melskunk ran with it, and made this cool icon.

In 2005 (or so?) I was hired to write a 100,000 word D&D supplement about a frozen kingdom called "Skjarskert." I had to stop about 40,000 words in, as I just didn't have the time to put into it. I used this icon for playtest notes and rules musings. I don't know why I'm still using it, though I think the husky skull is sorta cool.
