Oh, I had an impromptu lunch with
tzoq today.
He introduced me to Wild Boar Papardelle at the Hot House Restaurant on Church Street. Yes, it acutally was Wild Boar meat. Yummy, too!
And, yesterday, I had lunch with
mwbard, who managed to eat a hamburger with hooves. He (or she, since she's been a unicorness of late) lent me a copy of the 1951 A.E. Von Vogt novel, The Weapon Shops of Isher. I'm relieved to note that it's actually an edited collection of short stories, because while readable, the plot is also pleasantly incoherent, and it's nice to have a reason for that. ;)
