More Photos!

My breakfast! This was not the greasy spoon I was promised! We had time to drive to Ancaster for a healthy and elaborate brekkie.

[livejournal.com profile] doc_mystery!

Bayshore owner Rose, handing out tickets.

[livejournal.com profile] mar2nee and [livejournal.com profile] thebitterguy, browsing.

[livejournal.com profile] thebitterguy snagged a copy of the Rocky and Bullwinkle RPG while [livejournal.com profile] doc_mystery fumed with envy.

Fits good! Smells like a dirty sock!

That breakfast looks amazing! what a great tradition you guys have. Looks like you guys had a great time!

[identity profile] pyat.livejournal.com 2009-06-06 06:19 pm (UTC)(link)
We did indeed. :)

Bah! I have my own copy of TSR's Rocky and Bullwinkle Storytelling Game!

Which I bought back in 1988!

IT's odd. I don't think it's ever been played. One of the two decks was opened, but the other was sealed and the spinners have not been assembled.

that looks like a cora's.

we lost our cora's and it was replaced with a much inferior place. SO SAD :(

[identity profile] pyat.livejournal.com 2009-06-06 06:02 pm (UTC)(link)
It was indeed a Cora's. I'd never been. :)

In America, some jurisdictions consider such a mask drug paraphernalia. Or however you spell it.

I'd use it to escape the fumes of Indian Hemp!

See 4:00 min mark. :)

Mmmmmmm sauteed mushrooms! I'll pass on the Hollandaise though.

Looks like a fun expedition!

[identity profile] pyat.livejournal.com 2009-06-06 05:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Hollandaise makes life good! And... short!

Sorry I missed out on the meal! You do have my house number don't you? Next time call! I mean, it's less than a 5 min walk from me :/

[identity profile] pyat.livejournal.com 2009-06-06 05:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I do have your #, but it was only 8 AM, and I figured you'd be asleep. We'd intended to go downtown, or to the pancake house, but the pancake house was closed, so we kept driving. :)

Ooh, also, I'm told "Your Place" restaurant was sold late last year, and the new owners have retained the menu but changed how the items are made. Which may explain the very disappointing food we had there with Erin earlier this year.

Did Claire ask if you were her mommy?

[identity profile] kores-rabbit.livejournal.com 2009-06-07 01:49 pm (UTC)(link)
THIS is what I was thinking.

[identity profile] pyat.livejournal.com 2009-06-07 07:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Shh. Don't tell Erin. :)

[identity profile] anidada.livejournal.com 2009-06-06 10:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh god, Cora's. I LOVE CORA'S. *envious*

[identity profile] pyat.livejournal.com 2009-06-07 07:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd never heard of it before!

[identity profile] melskunk.livejournal.com 2009-06-06 10:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Is it wrong that all I can think of when looking at that breakfast is the kitchen work it took?

[identity profile] pyat.livejournal.com 2009-06-07 07:37 pm (UTC)(link)
One thing I noticed was that the kitchen was very well-staffed, and open to the dining area. Which I guess is good and bad, as work areas go. But the people working there seemed to be pretty chipper, and things were put together like an assembly line.

The brekkie looks heart-breakingly (heartattackingly) delicious. Oh, Hollandaise sauce!

[identity profile] pyat.livejournal.com 2009-06-07 07:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Paddington's Pump at at the St. Lawrence Market has a delightfully gelatinous Hollandaise. Mmm.

Breakfast looks amazing. I like how the "Eggs & Crepes" sign behind [livejournal.com profile] doc_mystery looks like boobies.

[identity profile] pyat.livejournal.com 2009-06-07 07:35 pm (UTC)(link)
You see boobies everywhere, you do!

[identity profile] hillarygayle.livejournal.com 2009-06-07 07:46 pm (UTC)(link)
As often as possible!

[identity profile] girlydoll.livejournal.com 2009-06-08 12:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh god, that breakfast is like a wolf in a sheep costume!!

At least you "attempted" to eat healthy!!
