Back!

We (which is to say, sassy_fae and I) are back!

velvetpage and Claire were awake when I got home. Poor Claire is quite sick. I sat up with her for a bit just now, and she was very snuggly and miserable. She pointed over my shoulder to the stairs. "Bed?" Poor kid.

I'm glad to be home. I'm exhausted.

It was an excellent con experience, and an excellent time getting to know old friends better, in particular the Fae One, who was subjected to 28 hours of conversation with me during our drives.

I took 700 photos...


"AS A FOULNESS YE SHALL KNOW THEM!" sassy_fae had never been to White Castles. Here, I am about to teach her about The Terrible Secret of Space....


sassy_fae drove every inch there and every minute back - about 30 hours all told.


We stopped in Detroit to visit kianir and tigerwolfvix, who keep lots of critters.


kianir has a mighty beard!


And they have awesome decorations.

Oh, that was at Kia and Vicki's house. It's a Mary statue with the head broken off and replaced with some kind of robotic velociraptor.
