Congratulations, summerfields!

My little sister Anneke and her husband Craig have graduated from the Salvation Army Officer Training College. They'll be formally commissioned/ordained tomorrow, and assigned to a church somewhere in the American West Territory, which encompasses everything from New Mexico to Alaska to Guam.


Cadets Craig and Anneke Summerfield - soon to be Lieutenants. Anneke was valedictorian and delivered an excellent address. Which we missed. Because we were stuck in Cleveland. Yay!

Tonight we're meeting snobahr and chronovius for supper!

Today!

... was very busy. We had a family breakfast, found a used bookstore, got a tour of the campus, went for supper with snobahr and chronovius (who are awesome and cool), and now I'm finally about to crash, two cups of coffee nothwithstanding.
